Every year, my mom's side of the family gets together to take a vacation to North Carolina. And every year, I always try to buy new beauty products to take with me. This year, I felt like the majority of what I packed was health/beauty related, but you can never really have too many healthcare products, can you?
And seeing as I started this blog recently, I figured I'd give you all a little insight as to what I bought along, that way if you go on a trip later down the road, you might find yourself trying out some of these products for yourself. Let's get into it, shall we?
1. Bath/Shower
Recently, I've been absolutely OBSESSED with Zoella Beauty products, so I made sure to pack up my Shower Shake from her Jelly and Gelato range, as well as the Scrubbing Me Softly Body Scrub from her Tutti Fruity range (no longer available) and the Le Fizz Bath Fizzers from her Sweet Inspirations range (pictured above). You can never go wrong with silky skin, amiright?
I also stopped by my local Bath and Body Works store to pick up a few things, one of which being the CocoShea Creamy Body Wash in the coconut scent (which is INSANE).
And let's not forget about my Summer Eve's Cleansing Wash in the scent Morning Paradise, which is extremely helpful for keeping those sensitive areas clean and healthy. That and it smells good, sooooo...

2. Hair
I've actually been using Aussie hair care products for a while now, and usually I'll buy Not Your Mother's Beach Babe shampoo and conditioner for vacation. But this year, I just decided to stick with my Mega-Moist Shampoo and Conditioner that never fail to leave my hair feeling silky smooth. In addition to that, I packed up my leave-in conditioner by the same brand to make sure my locks are always well nourished and flawless (even though they get tied up in a ponytail anyways...).

3. Skincare
I've always been the type of person who has more than enough lotion stored away for whenever I need it. So it's no surprise that all I really had to do this year was grab a bottle and go. This year, I opted for another Zoella Beauty product (because let's be honest: she makes the best skincare products in the WORLD), which is the Candy Cream body lotion from her Tutti Fruity range (no longer available). This always leaves my skin feeling nice and rejuvenated, and it's especially nice after you've been in the pool. Nonetheless, it's perfect.
I also thought I'd try out Bath and Body Works' new Aqua Cool lotion, which is made of aloe. And seeing as I'm obsessed with fruity scents, I settled on Pretty as a Peach, and I LOVE IT.
For my acne (seeing as I am still a teen and I'm in that stage where pimples are an actual nuisance), I swear by Clean and Clear. So I made sure to bring my Morning Burst Facial Cleanser, my Night Relaxing Deep Cleaning Face Wash, and my Dual Action Moisturizer, which all work together to leave my skin feeling fresh and ready for the day (or night).
And finally, when it comes to shaving necessities, I just stuck with my usual Noxema razors and my trusty Skintimates shaving gel in the scent Raspberry Rain. Skintimates is always my go to for shaving cream because they make a gel that moisturizes as you shave, so it makes your legs that much smoother in the end, which is always a plus.

And that concludes my list of beauty essentials for the beach. I hope you guys enjoyed it. If you did, feel free to leave me a comment below letting me know what you thought and if you've ever tried these products out yourself. Also, make sure to go on over to my social accounts and say hi.
That's all for now...until next time! :)
