HELLO, AND WELCOME TO MY BLOG!

Hello! My name is Megan, and I am the author of this blog.

I started "A Dash of Nutmeg" as a way to be able to share my day-to-day thoughts with anyone who's willing to read them. I also saw this as an opportunity to work on my writing skills, as I have been writing for quite a few years now and it never hurts to type out your thoughts and feelings to try and sharpen up on those skills.

But enough about that: who the heck am I?

Hi, my name is Megan. I am sixteen-years old and I am currently a junior in high school. Reading and writing has always been something that I've been passionate about (although, to tell the truth, I haven't been reading as much as I should be...but I'm working on it, I promise).

Growing up, it was nearly impossible to separate me from a book. But now, it's almost impossible to separate me from a keyboard because I am constantly writing something, whether that be an assignment for school or a simple short story.

For the longest time, I found it difficult to share my thoughts and feelings with others. But hopefully, now that I plan on writing them down and sharing them with you, it won't be as difficult.

I also plan on using this blog as a place where I can showcase some of my photography from over the years, as I've adopted a knack for that as well. I hope you don't mind :)

I plan on sharing a new blog post once or twice a month, but that may change as time goes on. I'm the type of writer who will spends days reading over the same sentence to make sure it's just the way that I want it, so it'll probably take me a while to approve of a blog post. But I promise to try my best :)
